How I work

I use traditional techniques combined with modern technology to create bespoke pieces of contemporary furniture and objects out of wood. I work mainly to commission, creating pieces to a client’s brief. I might focus on a piece for anything between a couple of weeks to six months or more.

The whole process, from design, to timber selection, making and finishing, is carried out in my Battersea workshop.

Commissioning a piece

All the way through, clients are encouraged to be involved in the creation of the piece – from discussing the original idea, to agreeing on the final design and visiting the workshop while work is in progress.
